Here's what to expect on your wedding day ๏ปฟas a Starstruck Couple ๐Ÿ’ž

When we photograph a wedding, we show up ready to pay attention to everything that actually happens. We blend in with your guests, move through the rooms as the day unfolds and document things as they genuinely look and feel. You will see us observing and quietly catching the moments you might miss in the rush of it all.

๏ปฟ

The sections below walk you through exactly how we work from morning to night, so you know what itโ€™s like to have us there with you.

Getting Ready

The day always begins in a way that feels almost private, and when we arrive, we donโ€™t sweep in with equipment or instructions; instead, we step through the door, greet whoever is closest, and take a slow look around to understand whatโ€™s already happening, the halfโ€‘open garment bag on the bed, the dresses hanging by the windows, the makeup brushes lined up on the windowsill, the quiet conversations happening in corners as people start to get ready.

We unpack our cameras gently so we can begin noticing the small things that will matter later, the way your mum keeps checking the dress even though she knows itโ€™s perfect, the way your partner sits on the edge of the sofa tying their shoes with a kind of concentration that has nothing to do with the shoes, the way your friends move around you with a mix of excitement and nerves. We photograph all of this without asking anyone to pause or repeat anything, because the truth of the morning is always found in what people do naturally.

As experienced wedding photographers, we have learned how to move through a room without interrupting its rhythm, how to anticipate moments before they happen, and how to capture details that will later become the anchors of your story.

Guests Arriving

Thereโ€™s always a point where the house becomes busier and suddenly there are people arriving, this is where having two photographers becomes invaluable. One of us stays close to you, documenting the moments that happen right beside you, while the other moves through the rest of the house capturing everything else thatโ€™s unfolding at the same time.

We know how to step around people, how to position ourselves without blocking anyone, and how to photograph quickly and gracefully so nothing is missed.

You wonโ€™t need to think about us or adjust anything for the camera; we are simply there, working with the confidence that comes from years of experience.

The Ceremony

The ceremony is the part of the day everyone has been preparing for, and when it begins, we work with a quiet precision that ensures everything is captured beautifully without ever drawing attention to ourselves. We know exactly where to stand so we can photograph your entrance clearly, and we know how to move during the ceremony without distracting you or your guests.

We capture the way your partner looks at you when you walk in, the way your hands find each other, the way your guests lean forward slightly as you speak, and all the small details that happen around the room, the tissues being passed down a row, the child sitting on someoneโ€™s lap, the friend wiping away a tear with the back of their hand.

One of us stays close to you, photographing your expressions and the moments between you, while the other stays further back, capturing the full scene so your gallery feels complete and layered.

Confetti

The moment the ceremony ends is always full of movement. People come straight toward you, hugs happen one after another, someone hands you a drink, someone else starts crying, and you are surrounded by everyone who has been waiting to congratulate you and the confetti follows.

This part of the day is full of genuine reactions, and we are very good at catching them without asking anyone to look at the camera or pause what they are doing.

You will be busy taking it all in, and we will be right there documenting everything that happens around you.

Couple Portraits

At some point, we will take you aside for a few minutes for a brief but fun photoshoot, and to simply to give you a moment to breathe.

๏ปฟ

We choose a spot with beautiful light, maybe a quiet corner outside, maybe a hallway with soft window light, and we let you settle into the moment.

We give gentle direction only when needed, and we photograph you as you are: talking, laughing, holding each other, taking in the fact that you are now married. These portraits are designed to feel natural because they come from real interactions.

The Reception

Once the reception starts, the day becomes more relaxed.

People sit down, talk, eat, wander around, and we move through the space capturing everything that happens.

We photograph the way your guests talk to each other, the way children run between tables, the way your friends lean in during speeches, and the way you two look at each other when you think no one is paying attention.

We are used to working in busy rooms with low light, moving crowds, and unpredictable moments, so you can trust that we will capture everything clearly and beautifully.

Your First Dance

The first dance is usually our favourite part of the day as everyone let's lose and have fun!

We photograph the movement, the laughter, the way people let go, and the way you two move through the room together. We use flash photography to creat awesome images that depict the movement and craziness of the dance floor and preserve views you probably didn't even see happening!

We stay until we have captured the full story of the evening, that give the night its befitting end!

After Your Wedding

When we leave at the end of the night, the first thing we do, before we even take off our shoes, is back up every single image carefully and meticulously so nothing is ever left to chance.

Once everything is safely stored, we begin the slow, thoughtful process of selecting and editing, moving through the images from morning to evening in the same order the day unfolded, choosing photographs that carry the truth of each moment, and we edit them in a way that keeps them honest to how the day looked, felt, and moved.

You will receive a gallery that shows your wedding exactly as it happened, with all the details, all the people, and all the moments that made it yours.

Once you have had time to sit with those images, we will begin designing something that turns your story into a physical heirloom, a handcrafted luxury Henley album, built with thick, layโ€‘flat pages, fine art printing, and a cover material chosen specifically for you, so the photographs you lived through can become something you hold and pass down, and something that feels as beautiful as the day itself.
